Silver Wire Rope Holders with Ball for 1mm Ropes

Our silver nickel plated brass wire rope holders consist of a small ball with a nozzle to insert a 1mm wire rope. Once the nozzle is pressed down, wire and steel ropes can be continuously adjusted in length. Wire rope holders are used to suspend suitable loads from steel ropes, adjust their height and do not require any additional tools.

Tested quality: The wire rope holders, also called wire rope grippers, can be used for 1mm. Due to the low breaking forces, we recommend to use wire rope holders only for light suspensions. With the help of calibrated universal tensile testing machines, the following breaking forces of the wire rope sliders could be determined:

1mm: 76kg

Attention. The breaking forces of the wire rope sliders are given without safety factor. Please base your application on at least a 5-fold safety factor (example 1mm: 76kg (breaking load) : 5 (safety factor) = 15kg (working load)). Easy handling: With the help of the pressed down nozzle, the steel cable can be easily and quickly adjusted in height. The engaged nozzle fixes the wire rope holder on the rope and prevents it from slipping. Inside the wire rope holder are three balls, which are held in the cone by a spring. Once the desired height of the wire rope holder is reached, the balls clamp the suspension rope. The wire rope is not damaged during this process.

Versatile applications: Wire rope connections with wire rope holders are only to be used for the application of the determined working loads. Wire rope holders with ball can be optimally used for applications where the length has to be adjusted on site. Possible applications for this include suspended shelves, pictures, lamps or other items.
