Red eye hook DIN EN 1677-2 with 1.120kg - 3.150kg working load
Our red painted eye hooks according to Din European Standard 1677-2 made of high-strength quenched and tempered steel are assigned to grade 8. The paint is shock and abrasion resistant and has an additional signal effect.
Tested quality: The red painted load hooks of grade 8 can demonstrate very high breaking forces due to the closed eye and the high-grade steel used. With the help of calibrated universal tensile testing machines, the following minimum breaking forces of the load hooks could be determined:
1,200kg eye hook: 4,475kg
2.000kg eye hook: 8.002kg
3.150kg eye hook: 12.600kg
Attention. No safety factor is taken into account when specifying the minimum breaking load. The working load of the eye hook is given with a 4-fold safety factor to the minimum breaking load. The hook must be able to align itself in the direction of loading and the loading must be shock-free. The detailed test reports can be found under "Test reports" on the article page.
Easy handling: The large jaw width and a solid safety lock guarantee high reliability.
Versatile applications: Eye or load hooks are used, with the help of a wire rope, as load suspension for various objects. Furthermore, they can be used as suspension hooks for easy and safe connection of the sling chain to the load or other load handling device. Our load hooks can of course be combined with suitable steel ropes from the store of Drahtseile24.
