Product description
Cover plate stainless steel V2A AISI 304 with 4x pan-head screws
Our eye plates in the form of cover plates made of V2A AISI 304 stainless steel are optimally suited as fasteners for any type of steel cables.
Tested quality: The eye plates are made of high quality stainless steel and can, due to the corrosion resistance, also be exposed to difficult weather conditions. Due to the closed shackle, the eye plates can demonstrate very high breaking forces. With the help of calibrated universal tensile testing machines, the eye plates were fastened to pine wood with the supplied pan-head screws, and the following minimum breaking forces were determined:
- 35x30mm: 999kg
- 40x35mm: 968kg
- 50x40mm: 1.651kg
In all the test trials, the screws were pulled out of the pine wood, and no bracket suffered any significant damage.
Attention. No safety factor is taken into account when specifying the minimum breaking load, at least a 3-fold safety factor to the minimum breaking load should be included in the application. The detailed test reports can be found under "Test reports" on the article page.
Easy handling: The cover plates are supplied with four matching stainless steel pan head screws to ensure quick installation. The deck plates can be quickly fastened to suitable attachment points in the wood using a suitable screwdriver.
Versatile applications: Deck plates serve perfectly as a mounting option for a wide variety of applications, such as attaching stainless steel tension cables, hanging decorations, flower pots from the ceiling, or attaching clotheslines.
Easy expansion options: The eye plates can of course be combined with matching stainless steel cable, tension ropes or wire rope sets from the store of Drahtseile24. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do deck plates have to be subjected to axial tensile loads or can they also be subjected to transverse loads to a certain extent?
The deck plates can also be loaded transversely.
The drilling pattern is not dimensioned. Can you give me information about the dimensions?
The distance between the drill holes of the deck plates is listed below: 35x30mm: 20mm on the short side & 25mm on the long side | 40x35mm: 21mm on the short side & 27mm on the long side | 50x40mm: 25mm on the short side & 36mm on the long side
When the deck plates are subjected to transverse loading, does it make a difference whether they are loaded in line with the bracket (eye) or at a 90° angle to the bracket (eye)? Are the same load limits to be assumed in both directions as in tension?
No, it makes no difference. In all tests, the eyes of the deck plates did not break. The screws were always pulled out of the wood.
Is this panel also suitable for mounting on a plasterboard wall?
With the help of suitable plasterboard dowels, the eye plates can also be attached to plasterboard walls.
