Stainless Steel Straight Shackle with Eyebolt M4 - M10
Our salt water-resistant shackles made of V4A AISI 316 stainless steel are equipped with a safety bolt that is screwed into the thread of the straight base body.
Tested quality: The shackles made of high-quality V4A stainless steel can also be exposed to difficult weather conditions thanks to their very high corrosion resistance. Thanks to the closed eyebolt, shackles can also demonstrate very high breaking forces. The following minimum breaking forces were determined using calibrated universal tensile testing machines:
- M4: 1,019kg
- M5: 1,509kg
- M6: 2,283kg
- M8: 3,130kg
- M10: 5,127kg
Attention! No safety factor is taken into account when specifying the minimum breaking load; the working load of the shackle is specified with a safety factor of 5 times the minimum breaking load. The detailed test reports can be found under "Test reports" on the product page.
Easy handling: The screwed-in eyebolt allows quick and easy assembly and disassembly at various attachment points.
Versatile areas of application: Due to their high load capacity, shackles are mainly used in lifting systems as an interchangeable connecting link to connect lifting points and wire rope. Due to its resistance to seawater, shackles are also increasingly used in shipping, water sports, the food industry and mechanical engineering.
