Our red PVC coated stainless steel wire rope made of high quality V4A AISI 316 stainless steel is classified as 7x7 (3mm) and 7x19 (4mm & 6mm), this is a rope construction with 7 strands and 7 or 19 individual wires each. This construction makes the wire rope quite flexible. The sheathed steel rope serves optimally for securing in various applications and is increasingly used in outdoor applications due to its high corrosion protection. The steel cable is pressed into a loop at both ends with a sheathed crimp to protect their objects from abrasion and scratches. In addition, the stainless steel cable is equipped with an Abus marine lock (70IB/45) with a long shackle.

The loops are uniformly pressed according to DIN specifications and have the size of the rope diameter factor 15, thus resulting in the following loop heights and widths:

• 3mm (2 on 3): 43mm loop height inside, 20mm loop width inside
• 4mm (3 on 4): 46mm loop height inside, 20mm loop width inside
• 6mm (4 to 6): 67mm loop height inside, 28mm loop width inside

High quality workmanship: to protect against wire breakage and injury, the wire rope is wrapped with a 1-2mm thick red PVC plastic sheath. The numbers in the brackets in the offer describe the thickness of the steel cable without and with sheathing. For example, 6mm (4 on 6): The steel cable without sheathing has a diameter of 4mm, including plastic sheathing the diameter is 6mm.

Tested quality: we only use high quality V4A stainless steel for our red coated stainless steel ropes, so we can guarantee acid and sea water resistance.

High quality lock: the seawater resistant Abus Marine lock consists of a solid brass lock body with stainless steel shackle and also has an encapsulated lock body to protect against dirt and water.
