Stainless steel threaded terminal for crimping for 2mm - 10mm ropes
Our saltwater resistant thread terminals made of V4A AISI 316 stainless steel with metric M4, M5, M6, M8, M10, M12, M16 or M20 thread including lock nut are available with left or right hand thread. On one side of the rope terminal is the insert, which can be connected to the steel rope by crimping.
Tested quality: Due to the processing of high-quality and rustproof V4A stainless steel, the thread terminals can be exposed to difficult weather conditions. The high-quality rolled terminals can, with the help of hydraulic pressing tool, be pressed with steel cables. In connection with the hydraulic pressing tongs from our online store, the following breaking forces of the terminals could be determined:
2mm with terminals: 326kg
3mm with terminals: 326kg
4mm with terminals: 907kg
5mm with terminals: 968kg
6mm with terminals: 448kg
Attention. The breaking forces of the terminals are given without safety factor. Please note that a suitable safety factor must be included for their application. The detailed test reports can be found under "Test reports" on the article page.
Easy handling: With the help of our hydraulic crimping pliers, the wire rope terminal can be fixed quickly and safely to the steel rope. Please note that crimping with a simple hand crimping pliers, such as our 2-in-1 crimping pliers & wire rope shears, is not possible. Thanks to the grub screw and lock nut, the terminal can be fastened to suitable anchor points and tensioned with the help of the nut. No further fastening materials such as snap hooks or eyebolts are required for attachment.
Advantage to the terminal with grub screws: Stainless steel rolled terminals can be optimally used as a connecting element to tension stainless steel cables between two attachment points. Due to the possibility of in-house production, the exact length of the tensioning rope does not have to be defined in advance, but can be individually adapted to the conditions on site. Due to the fixed crimping, a subsequent separation of the steel cable from the terminal, is not possible.
Easy expansion options: Our threaded terminals can of course be combined with all matching stainless steel cables from the store of Drahtseile24 and pressed with the hydraulic pressing tongs. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us.

Yes, rolled terminals can only be pressed with a hydraulic pressing tool or press. Alternatively, you can order stainless steel cables with already pressed terminals or terminals for self-assembly with grub screws.
